Access control and authorisations

Access control involves permanently monitoring entrances and spaces – with an overview of how many and which persons are where.

Zones and zone groups
This module is used to define when, which individual or groups of individuals have access through which door(s). Multiple assignments per person offer the highest flexibility and almost unlimited possibilities.

Persons and their access rights
The "Employee Data" module is where the credential and other key data of people working at the premises is generated. Further information about individuals is summarised on separate dialogue tabs, giving an improved overview.

Airlock control for high security areas
Airlocks ensure that only one person at a time can enter the security area. primion supports various different airlock concepts.

Event-based reports
All accesses at one or more doors can be stored and selected according to selectable criteria. These reports can be saved as PDF or HTML files, can be exported directly to Excel or can be output to printer or screen.

Duress codes
If security staff are placed under duress and forced to open a particular door to allow unauthorised access, they can be protected by entering a so-called duress code. The door is opened but, at the same time, a silent alarm can be triggered in the security office, without the perpetrator being aware.

Timed antipassback
Timed antipassback prevents the same credential being used again with a defined time period to open, for example, a barrier to allow a non-authorised person to use a car park. This option is only effective with access devices that allow one person or one vehicle to enter at a time.

Global antipassback
If you need to know where persons are currently located, the software offers an on-screen display that gives you a constantly updated overview. The pre-requirement for this is the implementation of global antipassback and the installation of a reader on each side of the area's access points. In this case, the access points must be constructed such that only one person can access at a time, e.g. through the use of turnstiles.

Concierge module
Open doors from the comfort of your own PC. You can assign the corresponding properties to your doors and then define whether a door can be controlled through the concierge module. Security can then decide, perhaps by reference to a surveillance camera at the door, whether to open the door or not.

Universal Import and Export Generator with LDAP interface
Transfer data conveniently, flexibly and in many different formats from any system or to any system of your choice, including the option of using an LDAP interface. The further processing of the exported or imported data can then be done quickly and with the minimum of effort.

Report generator
How often access was made through a particular door, who accessed through this door during a particular period or which persons are authorised to book at which readers? With the report generator, you have a free hand in designing both the content and the layout of your reports. You have access to all the information stored in the system and can create individual outputs.

Display panel software
Who is where at the moment? With the display panel software, you can see who is currently where and which group or department the persons belong to, through any computer with an Internet access.

Centralised password management on LDAP basis
Convenient access to prime WebSystems without having to remember yet another password. When passwords are managed centrally on an LDAP basis, password entries are checked by the server. The LDAP protocol is a TCP/IP-based directory access protocol which has become established as the standard Internet and Intranet solution for accessing network directory services for databases, e-mails, memories and other resources.
